| i work in singapore been here for ten years. one of the better asain destinations for all sorts of reasons. but not so much for the young want to see whats truly asia. its a well run and five star sort of operation. but for jobs, its not so hard to get permits. earn above 1800 sing dollars and you can get a professional employment pass. all the big hotel groups are here, but tend to take expat chefs less these days. the local market is very very good and they dont need to. but in china still lots of oppurtunity. malaysia also good. but wages not so high. thailand i dont know. but its a fun place with great golf. a few sites you may want to try. http://www.globalchefs.com/career/jo...ng/gsaJobs.htm and http://www.equatorial.com/ this one is currently looking for exec chef china. vacancy posted two days ago. |
