Post Why is it...

that the little light bulb don't appear anymore. A fwe days ago whenever I came here I would see a little light bulb in the left margins on the page that list all the forum. The light bulb would be yellow if there was a new post. Now it doesn't appear anymore. Is it just me?? Howcan I fix this up??

Thanks

Mo

Mo, reset your preferences. That should restore your lightbulbs.

I tried that and it didn't work. Yes my browser is set to accept cookies. Is there anything else that could explain the problem?

Thanks for your help!

Lightbulb

You may have deleted your cookies or someone may have delete your cookies on your computer. After a few posting of topics or replies you should start to see the light bulbs again.

fyi....

my lightbulbs (and folders with new info) don't show up either. They did last week and I haven't changed anything in my web browser or pc.

YIKES! Well recently we upgraded the software and I would expect that is the reason why you are having problems.

Can you tell me if you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer as your browser?

Thank you for letting us know.

I use Netscape 4.7. I just check with Explorer and I still don't see the little light bulb.

The only time I see the light bulb is if I come back to the page without closing Netscape. Then it will tell me when I was here last and put the light bulb where there is new post.

Thanks for your help

Mo

Unhappy

this is a bummer. the light bulbs are still not showing up as well as the "new" folder. I never know if a new reply has been posted.

If I hit "reload" the bulbs appear, but they are not lit (ever).

I got an anti-virus program that erases cookies so it can speed up my machine. When this happened it earse the bulbs and folders. I'm posting this reply to see if it will help, OR maybe we haven't been paying our electric bill!! Hope the rest of yo get your bulbs turned on!
