 The Wendy's Finger Incident As an industry consultant, I'd like to weigh in on this subject momentarily. First of all, Wendy's is a first class burger operation. Of all the chains out there, Wendy's built their reputation on service and quality. (Afterall, Dave Thomas was a Colonel Sanders protege, if that says anything). Secondly, the likelihood that a finger (of all things) ending up in their food, as a result of an injury on the job at Wendy's is about 99.9% unlikely. ALL fast food operations have very strict requirements for injuries on the job. It's impossible for an injury like this to go unnoticed!
