| Hi, Can someone recommend a decent POS system for a "BBQ joint" with 15 tables, a varied menu, with takeout as well? Thanks! Pete |

| One of the most popular and most reasonably priced POS systems available is the PC America Restaurant Pro Express (http://www.pcamerica.com/restaurant_pro_express.htm). It runs on a variety of off the shelf computer equipment whereas some of the other systems tie you to their hardware which is considerably more expensive. You can also handle take-out sales, dine-in and delivery sales with the software. It is touch screen based and you can configure multiple register stations, kitchen order displays and printers and everything you need to run a restaurant. |

| We are using an Aloha Software-based system that is the best I have ever used. User friendly, versatile, fast! Not the cheapest, but the savings we are realizing is WELL worth the investment. Anyhow, when does cheapest ever mean the best?

| Check out the Nusable system, Classic version. Very cost effective and reliable. You won't be paying for a bunch of bells and whistles you don't need. |
