| Hello to all chefs and chefs-to-be!!! How’s everything? Allow me to introduce myself 1st.. Am jco, a female, aspiring chef from the land of smiles! Am currently having my second major/degree. Taking up culinary. Ill be graduating this December 2006. In our school, getting an externship (apprentice / training / internship) in a hotel is a must. I was thinking of doing mine in U.S. preferably in New York or Los Angeles. Most of u might ask why abroad? Why not in your country? Why U.S.? Because after that externship requirement I really want to pursue my dreams in U.S. I plan to work there. I believe it would be easier to find a job. Right now, my problem is.. Do any of you know any hotel that accommodates international trainee or apprentice? I would be more than happy to know your opinions or simply just hear from you. I hope u guys can help me pursue and make that dream a reality. Thanks a lot!! Good luck to you all. God bless u! ![]() |

| The Ritz-Carlton. They get people from all over and they take in externs quickly. One catch though....you will have to fill out a personality test they have online in order to see if they will take you first. Go ahead and go on http://www.ritzcarlton.com they will most likely have what you are looking for. |
