I had a fellow employee ask me what the best knives were cuz she wanted to buy some expensive knives and i had went to culinary school and i told her (and i still hold true to this)

the best knife is whatever feels comfy in your hand, plain and simple

agreed, ive used a $200 dollar knife and it felt sorta good, switched back to another, at half the price, cut even better. so yea, i dunno.

If it's for the workplace, please, please, for the love of god, don't get an expensive one. Keep the nice ones at home, and get something along the lines of a Victorinox (a.k.a Forschner) for work.
