 well, i guess at the end of the day, why are we really caring, afterall, their just gonna be killed for our consumption and these creatures live at wat, a maximum of 2 years? funny i think that us humans care so much, but i guess its the right thing to do to care.  |

| Can anyone here explain with certainty, the history of foie gras, in terms of how birds were fattened in the first place? Last I read was that it all started with ancient Egyptians. But my book didn't explain if the Egyptians forcefed the birds, or if the natural livers just became a prized food on their own. |
