 Amusing Storie I am a frelenace relief chef / chef consultant in the Uk, yesterday I got called out (emergency) to a small hotel with a busy restaurant, I was told it is an Italian menu. I thought to myself that it might be a little tricky, but at least the chef will be able to tell me in english what he wants. WRONG When I turned up the Chef and CDP were ......... wait for it ..... HUNGARIAN !!! That was the hardest service I have ever been through. chefsworld.net      |

| I'm afraid to ask what language you ended up communicating in (sign language- ?) Good thing food is fairly universal! What a day! Congrats for surviving!

| re: Amusing Storie It took me a while to translate frelenace (freelance), but to help Hungarians cook Italian food reminds me of a restaurant in New York City. I may not have the name correct, but you will get the idea. Abe Cheng's Kosher Pizza. Those of you in NYC will have the real name. . |
