| this is not a soap but i need genuine help. I am out of work since quite a while, 55 is a bad age... I was asked to write and present a concept for a 'City Grill' ,place will have 150 seats.Nothing fancy, no 'nouvelle cuisine' If the investors like it I ahve the job (and these are not people who wil ltake the idea and than tell me to get lost, THAT I know) Has anyone written a concept, or does know how to write (english) point me to a site, point me to some menus, anything to make this thing a success. Since I am in Moscow,Russia we will be no competition to anyone. if it is easier use my e-mail 'benediktmorak'at'yahoo.com.everyone knows with which sign to replace the 'at'? this is just to fool the controller who won't let publish e-mail addresses. Tx in advance! By the way i have a week /10 days time ( friday the 20 th April is presentation)

| Enter "city grill" (quotation marks included) at google. This should give you access to plenty of menus that are at least close to what you are looking for. As far as how to write it: First, come up with a brief summary of what the concept is about. No more than a couple sentences. Something like "City Grill is an American Cuisine themed restaurant serving standard American Grill fare utilizing the highest quality ingredients paired with exceptional service." For the rest of the presentation, just give a slightly more detailed explanation of how you intend to execute the points laid out in your summary (examples of menu items, what makes your vision different from what others may already be doing, et cetera).

| Are you looking for something more or less upscale trendy? If so try grilled swordfish with refreshing flavors, peppercrusted whatever you can throw on a grill (tenderloin of beef), pastas with grilled seafood or chicken. Keep light meats light and heavy meats robust. Seeing you are in russia lean a little more towards the "meat and potato" cuisine but make it elegant. Pizza is a good deal too as long as you dont keep using polmodori sauce on every pizza. Apps like hearty soups and bisques maybe a duck or fish dish. And definately use beets for salads and tubers for sides......you have them there might as well. I'm just trying to get you thinking a little I hoped I didn't come off as a know it all or anything (because I have a lot of learning to do).

| for that I am 40 years a Chef, have worked around the world and collected some 500 meus for all occasions. and the net is also helpfull. the things that i need is to write about the grill. clients will be middle to upper management. what ambiente (american style food in an upscale refined atmosphere?) what furniture ( sitting in comfortable leather chairs? around handwaxed mahagoni dining tables? handcrafted wall murals to fit in with the theme of the place?) the menu (only best ingredients prepared with care for maximum dining pleasure?) this is what i need!!!!!!!

Try dark woods for tables and chairs. Have the chairs be comfortable but not too "couch" like. Stay away from leather because it is expensive to replace. Hard wood floors are nice but dark neutral looking tiles can be very elegant and still keep a lower cost. When you think of a city do you think of it at night? If so think of the lighting (i.e. if you have lights at each table try a small butane burner in a "candle holder" or low light pin lights on the table). The lighting shouldn't be too dark but it should be bright enough to see the menu and still keep the personal area to just the tables. Have more modern looking paintings or murals around but not too much that the place is a museum. If you do decide to put in tile on the floor make it in a diamond shape so the place looks bigger. Don't go for too vibrant colors that will catch peoples eyes into a particular area in the room. So I get a better Idea of the type of service what is the average ticket? And once again I'm sorry if i sound a little too suggestive or whatever but if it comes off as rude or annoying please tell me....thank you.
