Default Kitchen Crocs

Have any of you heard of crocs making a shoe for chefs or kitchen workers? I found the endevor or what ever but it doesnt seem to have a back. Im not sure if id like not having that back there or if its even aloud. Im attending the Culinary Institute of America by the way.

Do any of you know of a shoe that is like a copy of the croc that has a back suport other then a strap?

Hope i didnt confuse any of you with this.

Thanks Guys.

I would check out some birkenstocks which are cool. You just take out the footboard and run them through the dishwasher to clean them. I got an awesome pair of Troentorp steel toes that are awesome.

I would check with your school first. Many of the formal big culinary schools require the shoes be polishable. i.e. leather. When I went to school (Crocs weren't around) but the washable birkenstocks weren't allowed.

Dansko all the way....

btw. Don't forget that crocs founder and CEO very publicaly supports right wing and conservative politics, and company is run under the same ideology. Maybe you support that,ok, cool. Maybe you don't care, ok even cooler. But maybe you might care where you buy your products from.

Me too on the Danskos. I hate to take them off at night. NOTHING feels as good as they do- not even my slippers. So good, in fact, that I'd have to buy them EVEN IF the CEO supported right wing causes. Never did like crocs anyway.

All politics aside on the Croc issue, but I wonder how amazing they'll be for your feet after a few years of standing on them for 10 hours a day? They have little or no support and allow your feet to spread out because they're so wide. Me? I hurt just thinking about it. Just sayin'...
