How are Fresh pineapples usualy boxed? How many per box and whats the aferage packing weight? Anyone know?

7's 9's and 11's, all depending on the size.

You think that's strange? Try bell peppers. Weight? Nah they figure they're smart and go by volume, get this: Peppers are sold by the case of ONE AND ONE NINTH CUBIC BUSHELS!!!!! Tomatoes, on the other hand are sold in 25 lb cases.....

If it werent't so pathetic it'd be funny, or is it the other way around?

got 6 golden sweet pineapples today in a case, pretty large ones....only two were golden, the others were pretty green but still tasty.
