Default Thanksgiving Dinners to go?

I am not really sure what catagory this goes into but I will try here.

I have a retail bakery, we do other things of course like hot lunches and sandwiches etc.... The first year we were open people were asking if we would be doing turkey and mashers for T-Day? I said no. The next year they asked, I said maybe next year. Well here we go trying to plan ahead, and all I am saying is huh?! Ok I get that people don't always cook thier own holiday meals (our local grocery store makes a killing off this thing). But we are closed on T-Day. Does this mean that people want to pick up a pre-cooked turkey, mashers, and sides and then re-heat it on T-Day morning?

Anyone out there do this sort of thing for a retail situation. Can you sort of describe your logistics?

Thanks as always.

When I was 16 I worked at a delli...What we did is come up with a menu soup to nuts...Have them order it in advance , set a dead line for orders...
They flocked in every year, no lie 100's of guest would pick them up, a day or two before the holiday and would heat them up themselves...We packaged them, left instructions how to heat each different item

I'm actually working at a private golf club $100, 000 a year membership, and we just did the same thing for Passover there, you would be surprised the ammount of people who are interested in buying GOOD pre-cooked meals.....

All you have to do is do right the first time and year after year the numbers will increase,

MY OPINION ONLY: A great idea,.Turkey and sides is easy, plus you do every thing in advance...Dont know were you live , but around here turkeys usually come in frozen, get them in earlly

Suggestion: keep the food simple and classical: Old scholl stlye, like their mama use to make........

If you need a hand or any ideas feel free to reply or send me a personal message...
