Default IT Training anyone doing it

Hi,#
Am tempted to apply for a well paid position in IT training going locally. Training is pc based & to different sectors within F&b.
Is anyone doing this & is it as interesting as it sounds.

Mike,i did IT training whilst on a HCIMA course,it certainly opened my eyes. This included :Hotel room reservations, room tariffs(depending on the type of establishment,payments(cash,cheques,charge/credit/debit cards, logging in passport details, recording dietary requirements, etc.
From an F&B point,i should imagine it would include something on the lines of the EPOS system. This is beneficial for both front of house staff as well as the kitchen brigade. They will probably look at wine lists, stock control, staff rotas, function bookings i.e. corporate entertainment, restaurant bookings, credit card transactions, etc.
Is this the type of IT training you are doing? If it is,i may be able to help you.

I`m sorry for the delay in sending a reply Mike,i`ve been a bit busier than i expected.I am based near the Bank of England, the Stock Exchange is nearby as well.I`ve been working in the City for over 10 years.I decided that i`d had enough of working practically every weekend in the West End of London.

Bripash,IT training is usually incorporated into a hospitality management courses? Does the University in Austin hold hospitality courses on its campus? I`m not being sarcastic here,i`m asking because i don`t know what courses they teach there,Leo.
