There is somekind of Food Fest in August. You buy tickets and exchange them at the different tent for a bite or two of different dishes. Naturally the Foie gras degustation will cost you more tickets than a piece or two of sushi.

I went the first year it started, it was an enjoyable afternoon. I am sure things improove over the years but I never went back because it would be too difficult for me to walk around the site.

In the Eastern Township they have a Duck Festival at then end of the summer. You get to taste different type of duck, meet the farmer, trade recipes and watch a few demos. This always gets rave reviews in the press.

If you would like more information on these events let me know.
