Dirty floors
Other chefs that dont clean up after themselves.
People leaving their equipment (knives etc) lying arround dirty.
Server who lie. And the front of house who cover them.
Servers who think they have all the answers.
Swearing.
Being told that banquet numbers have gone up by 50 1 hour before it actually starts.
Comming to work to find the herbs that I ordered gone or used up because someone had a good idea.
Purveyors who tell you one price then arrive with a different one.
Lazy sous chefs with attitude and tenure that are untouchable...

1) People who call themselves "chefs" and I know more about cooking than they do.
2) These people being my superiors.
3)Front of the house managers who come to tell you how to prepare a dish that you have been preparing longer than they have been working there.
4)Male cooks and chefs that think that because you are a woman you don't know how to work the line (although you may do it better than they do) and are constantly behind you nitpicking.
5) Chefs who will hire you because they think you are good and your experience speaks for itself and then put you in the pantry but will hire a non-experienced person to work the line (and pay HIM more than you).
6)WAITSTAFF WHO DON'T HAVE A CLUE!!!!!!
7) Cooks who entered the field because it was a easy way to make money that knock the people who chose to become cooks because they love the field.
8) Cooks that are happy with just being a so-so cook. They have no ambition and no drive to be better than what they are.
9) Chef's who seem to think that yelling and throwing things (WOW, THAT'S WHAT MY 4 YEAR OLD DOES) will get them what they want (HEY IT DOESN'T WORK FOR MY SON).

I am sure that I could come up with a slew more but I don't want to seem like I hate everyone, because I don't.
