 Where Can I Find Info on Market Research?
I had dinner last night with some Thai friends that want to get back into the restaurant business after a 3-year hiatus. They are interested in opening limited-menu place, kind of like the roast chicken places that are starting to be common everywhere. They haven't decided yet what items to offer, but in fact, a Thai version of roast chicken is one of their thoughts.
To me (having no industry experience, but some from a customer's point of view), this kind of restaurant seems particularly location-sensitive, perhaps attracting lunch and carry-home-for-dinner traffic, but not necessarily a lot of eat-in traffic. That seems to need some research on what kinds of locations generate what kind of restaurant traffic.
Do any of you know of websites that offer this information, or that give pointers on how to do that sort of market research for a restaurant? |
