Cool Software

HELP! I have stacks of magazines and books that have recipes in them and I need to organize them.

What, if any software programs have you used or seen that will allow scanning of recipes, along with editing functions.

Please help.
Thanks

I too have pondered this problem, but now I often use Mastercook which I use for the rest of my collection. I type in the name of the recipe, major ingredients, magazine name, issue date and number--atleast I know where to look in my library!

ahhhh! eggcellent idea. I always chafed at the idea of typing in all the recipes, when mostly I just wanted to save the idea or presentation style of a dish. I save the magazines anyway so a master index/database of what mag and issue with a few keywords would work. Thank you for a great tip.

I use a scanner and scan the magizine ad or picture, whatever it is and save them in a file. It seems to work good and I have the picture as well as the recipe.
