| carering a open house at a fire house.Iv done hundreds of sit down dinners I have not done many hors d 'oeuvre partys .Just looking to see how many per person . Will also have a cheese and fruit and a veg tray.The party is for 5 hrs. people will come spread out any help will be helpful. |

| Generally, I plan 4 to 5 per person. That of course depends on the time of day, whether or not they are having dinner afterwards, how many different varieties you are offering, and the length of the reception. 5 hours is a pretty long reception. You also need to consider your audience- an NFL player's reception vs. the Camp Fire Girls. Hope this helps- Good luck. |
