 OK~ start looking beginning of April should run mid May, It is so area specifc and so short a season I would call University or conservation groups in your area to find out....actually I know some shroomers in NC that may have an idea or know who you could call.....I'll get on it....where exactly are you in SC?....By the way NC is GREAT MOREL area. I'm cooking at Morel Madness in Mexico Mo April 21st weekend.....Crazy group of hunters. ALWAYS serve morels and cream,they won't let me alter that one....why mess with a wonderful thing?  |

| mushroom hunting When I lived in MT I hunted mushrooms with my friends…since I have moved to SC. I am interested to know when the morel season starts in the south. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Patrick |
