here in Sydney, the cookery scools (well only TAFE to my knowledge), donate some of the daily foods to worthy causes - given that the Ryde college host something like 24 kitchens x 15 students and 1 to 2 teachers twice per day over 6 days, it is quite a worthwhile production. Lets not forget the other 9 TAFE colleges.

But anyway.

its probably improper of me to double up on posts, but perhaps if the suggestion was made to the culinary schools in US as to how dividend the spoils of education post lesson, perhaps there would be some greatful social institutions towards the hospitality sector.

You never know, you may even gain some karmic kudo's for pushing the point or perhaps a extra option of working in a soup kitchen or whatever as someones work experience rather than having to extern/intern in a kitchen without gaining any relevant experience.

Just a after thought.
