Arrow Slow cooker

If I have a really good oven, with a timer, do I need a slow cooker? Why?

A small one is good for tossing in your lamb rib bones, quail/gamehen/squab bones. Easy way to make stock from your small carcasses.

If you do a lot of slow roasting, you save TONS of energy with the cooker. And some oven don't get down that low . and you can get a slow cooker that has humidity controls. hhmmm I guess that's all i know
