Default Finally ready to make that career jump....

OK, for those of you who don't know, I have been on this board for a few years now...biding my time until I got all my education out of the way. I am now completely done with grad school and other major studies.

So now, with the support of my wife, I feel set to leave the legal world behind and finally follow my dream job/industry. And from the input I got from others on this board, I decided to NOT jump-in as unequal partners is a buddy's restaurant venture.

I have read the career changers' journals and postings on this and other boards and the one constant is "staging first" and/or prep jobs. So that is my next step. Off to new adventures...fears and all!
