Default Nutritional help

Sorry i have been offline for for a couple of weeks, my wife was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer.

Subsequently we have gone totally organic and are juicing everything under the sun to boost immune system.

Does anyone have any specific experience in this, there is so much conflicting information out there I could use a little help.

We do a fruit juice in the morning (fruits vary)

Evenings we try to get at least one broccoli, parsley juiced alternating with beetroot and ginger, all massivly high in antioxidents and blood cleansing properties.

So if you have any other ideas, I could use it.

Thanks

I'm TERRIBLY sorry to hear about your wife's condition.

Good nutrition is a good idea, but beware of some problems. First. Clear what you are doing with her doctor. Some foods interact poorly with some medications. A massive change in diet can often lead to complications.

Second, you will be entering a field full of profit, devoid of regulation and, thus, a vast area of cynical lies and well-intentioned misinformation. Be very wary of what people will tell you. Veggies simply don't cure cancer.

Best of luck to you and your wife.

I am sorry to hear of your wife's condition. You are on the right track. I know of a man who did help his body to heal from colon cancer. I took training from him at his center in N. Carolina. He has been cancer free for a few decades now.

Here are some things I learned from him:

The ideal pH for the body is just over 7 which is slightly alkaline. Cancer cannot grow in an alkaline environment. The trouble with our modern diets in this country is that it is an acidic diet. The juices you are making will help her raise her pH to alkaline. When juicing, the body assimilates 90%+ of the nutrients. Get pH strips from your pharmacist. Use in the AM before brushing teeth or eating and at bedtime before brushing. The pH may vary throughout the day because of what is eaten, stress, etc. Just place the strip in the mouth for a few seconds, and/or dip in a sample of urine.

It is important during this time that your wife maintain a vegetarian diet because meat has an acidic pH and also no fiber. Meat may sit in the colon for 3 days and purtrify before it makes its exit. This will not help her efforts at regaining her health.

Raw fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds are great because they are loaded with live enzymes, the life-force of food. Make sure your juices contain organic carrots and plenty of organic greens. Greens have chlorophyll which assist the body in healing.

Purified water is essential to detox. Cleansing the colon is of uptmost importance because the toxins need to be eliminated.

Sunshine and fresh air are essential, as is rest and a positive attitude, prayer. Let go of resentments, anger, bitterness which has negative effects on the body's ability to heal. Exercise is good. Walking is good, rebounding is great. Have her breathe deeply to get the O2 her cells need.

In addition there are a few name brand products I can mention if you are interested. Send me a private email so I can explain it to you.

I might add that I am currently working on a MS in Holistic Nutrition.

Capper, I'm with Castiron on this one. I am a firm believer that the mind and body can do some amazing things to cure itself in the right mindset. (Not always of course, but still it has amazing recuprative powers)
I wish both of you all the best for good health.

Tcapper,
One of the best chefs I worked for had his colon removed and is doing fine.
Closer to home My dad, at 72 just had a good portion of his colon removed
last year. Find a good doctor, pray a little, keep your mood positive. Its
a pretty big surgury and takes some time for recovery. My dad is good a new
now. Not that I know thats the road your wife will go down, but, good luck.
I will say a prayer for both of you.

Default A big thanks

Thank you all for the kind words, I really apprecite it.

By the way one of the juices I did the other day is great.

5 med beetroot
thumb size piece of ginger
2 pears
2 apples

Tastes great. I was also thinking of turning into a jelly and cutting into cubes for a salad garnish.
