Default Beach theme wedding

beach theme moderate priced wedding (actually food will be fairly low cost)...
60 guests offsite. end of Sept.

2 aps
pork entree
wedding cake

Bride is from Fla.
For the life of me I'm staling out on ideas.....shrimp, crab dippy things are swirling in my head as are pina coladas.....just not working on all burners today. Any ideas?

We do a warm crab dip with crispy wontons.

Dip is cream cheese whipped until liquid and kept warm.
Jumbo lump or king crab meat.
green onion
ginger
garlic
soy sesame oil
white pepper

Think crab rangoon. Very popular low cost.

I have also done a shrimp and papaya spring roll and a crab and mango spring roll.

I've done a similar thing......I'm thinking it's gonna be really hot so may do a cold version, just thin with cream.

you can spin latin/caribbean on the pork, it's very popular here on the west coast of FL, and of course Miami. That says beach more than asian.
