Cool Spawn of Bizarre requests thread

I was reading Chrose's post, where he referred to a customer ordering a 'Pittsburgh style' steak, which means black and blue, I was told that was 'Chicago style', which it obviously isn't because 'Pittsburgh style' just seems to make more sense, so I'm just wondering what does 'Chicago style' mean in reference to steaks ? or do the two names have the same meaning ?, because now that I'm actually thinking about it, I would tend to assume that Chicago style would have to have celery salt as a seasoning, because if you order a Chicago dog, it has to have celery salt added, otherwise it's just a hot dog with a lot of vegetables on it.

Anyways, I look forward to your responses, and I really hope this post isn't too confusing.

Thanks,
Jeff

I don't know the answer, but I get what you mean. It was always Pittsburgh style to me. And I've got to think I wouldn't eat a puppy in Chicago with someone else's mouth. Celery salt?
