Default Chicago

Hey Gang,

Is anyone planning on trying to get to the NRA show this May in Chicago? I'm thinking of going again this year and If others will be planning to attend this event I'd love to get together and check out the show.

I believe it is the 18th thru the 21st of May

Well It would be fun to celebrate your birthday with a bunch of Chefs!!
But after reading all the pastry forums I think I would defere your cake to some of our talented pastry chefs, Momoreg,W.Debord,M Brown and Chrose as examples could "enrobe"your birthday cake with more precision than I.

But,As for the confit and lamb and perhapes the perfect wine to enjoy with your birthday feast I think I could contribute.

Smile Just fun?

Fun to celebrate my birthday with a bunch of chefs???

Oh No this would be a dream...

Don't worry Cape Chef I was hoping that you brought up the name of Wendy for a birthday cake (momoreg is not coming anyway )
Does MBrown lives in Chicago?

If the answer to all the above is yes...well why we celebrate birthdays only once a year????

OK Capechef,
I take the omission of my name for b'day cake as a challange. We'll see who has the best tasting and decorated cake.
Now I know that this forum does not realize that, yes Men, decorate cakes. So I slap you all lightly with my latex glove and challenge you all to a duel.
I'm already thinking something mediteranean with some thing blown in sugar on top. It would not be the first time working with sugar in a hotel room.
Now remember Athenaeus does not really like that american buttercream!!!

I'll send one in the mail...

It'll be covered in blown sugar dolphins and clowns, it will dance across the table, and will taste like it was prepared by Careme himself.

Thumbs up

Momoreg to the rescue!!!

I am sorry panini. I am sure your work is top notch!

I am done with "duels" on this site.

I have seen Momoregs work, I have seen M Browns work,I have read great stories of passion of our buisness from Miss Wendy and have had the pleasure to become a friend of chrose. So you see, I am only basing my remarks here on fact.

and BTW..Chrose is a "Man" not that it matters my friend
