Default Deep frying oils

How good is cottonseed oil vs canola oil? Or would a blend be better?

Canola is genetically engineered, and can stand up to deep frying a little better. Commercially both have silicone added or other anti foaming chemicals added for stability.
I have seen them blended and cant tell from taste. However most times Canola is cheaper.

I have never used it as none of our purveyors handle it. I do know the smoking point is very high about 480-490F, and it has about 20% saturated fat . The Asian countries have used it for years. I will see if my local Asian Bodega carries it?.
