A poosh of basil?

Recently one of my kitchen supervisors asked me to get him a "poosh of basil" from the walk-in. And I had no idea what he was talking about so I just brought him a bunch of basil. Is that a word? It's probably not spelled correctly but that's how he pronounced it. My supervisor has a background in fine dining and is pretty knowledgeable. But he's also Jamaican and has a lisp so I might have misunderstood him.

It has always meant to me and my colleagues a little splattering of fresh herbs to finish a plate. Like chervil leaves as an example.

Edit to add, I pronounce it PLOOSCH, Like ROOF but with a PL

Pousse means "push" in French. Bunch in French is Groupe

Maybe it's just a term that he uses for bunch? I can honestly say I've never heard of it!
