Does anybody know what has become of pastry chef Wayne Harley Brachman, formerly of Michael Jordan's, Strip House, and Tapika in New York City (the Glazier Group restaurants)?

He's on Food T.V.'s "Melting Pot" with Michael Symon. I've also seen him on "Sweet Dreams" as a guest. Look for his book(s?) on Amazon.com. www.foodtv.com should have a bio on him that may tell what else he is up to these days. I hope I've helped.

Thanks very much for that info. Seems the food tv bio still lists him at the old places, but phone calls there yield a "he's gone; we don't know anything else" type of response. I was specifically wondering if he is currently associated with any restaurant, so if you hear anything through the grapevine I'd appreciate a holler. Thanks again.

I think the credits on "Melting Pot" still list him as working there also. You might try going back to www.foodtv.com and checking in on "Forums". They have a fan thread for each of the shows. Post there and see if you don't get the information you're looking for.
