Default Holiday flavor to cake donut

Hello. I make cake donuts out of the 50 lb sacks of Royal Cake Donut mix and I was wondering if there was anything I could add to make a more festive flavor. Already tried adding apple juice with cinnamon with some poor results. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Not familiar with the mix as far as what liquid ingredients go in?

What about an eggnog flavor, with nutmeg/rum extract. Pumpkin flavor in there; again don't know how you'd incorporate pumpkin puree into the mix; add spices. Gingerbread - add molasses and gingerbread spices. Or making them the way you usually do, and icing them with Christmas colors and sugars.

You can also add flavor to the icing. Try using strong flavor extracts or emulsions to your donut batter instead of subbing the liquid with other ingredients. Donut mix can be temperamental.

The eggnog sounds pretty interesting, but is there an eggnog extract? I don't think using just eggnog would work unless maybe it was added to the icing.

Nutmeg and rum are the basic flavors in eggnog; I'd just use those; maybe use real eggnog in the icing/glaze?
