The judging is taken very seriously, so we were not able to even talk to the judges in a personal nature outside of the judges table. I looked at the judges table as an opportunity to get feedback. If you were on top OR on the bottom, you got feedback - generally constructive. If you were in the middle, you got nothing. I thought they were fair...snarky sometimes, but generally fair. Afterall, it's perspective and opinions.
