Five pounds of challah.... ...are left over from our New Year's luncheon. I took it home to make a sweet or savory bread pudding I intend to bring to a pot luck lunch on the 13th (to break the fast after Yom Kippur).
Since people will have been fasting, I don't want anything too, too rich (like made with white chocolate!!). No pork or shellfish, please if it's a savory one.
Related: can I use my All-clad roti (roasting) pan to make it in? Or is it the wrong weight for the job.
