hello i want to make Sausage in Carrozza what this is it like a piggy in a blanket but with sausage not hot dog i want to could i use bisquick my dough or what will the easy was to make dough is it just flour egg and water and just ont make a litter bit just enoght to wrap 3 sausage

Piglet, you could try pizza dough, too- sometimes you can buy balls of it in the freezer section or from your local pizzeria. You could also buy frozen bread dough. It's probably fine for this. Refigerated biscuit dough or a biscuit dough mix (Bisquik, etc.) isn't bad, but it's not the same texture as pizza or bread dough.

I'd only heard of Mozzarella in carozza before, not sausage made that way. It's basically an Italian grilled cheese sandwich. The recipe uses sandwich bread. The cheese sandwiches are dipped in egg mixture and fried.
