The grilling is a nice touch. I've often made the ramen in such a way as to have it in a thick sauce that coated the noodles such that they literally shone with tasty goodness. Usually I'd only use a portion of the flavor packet - maybe 1/3 - 1/4 - reserving the balance to use as a supplemental flavoring for another soup I'd make later, and for less water than called for in the directions.
