right first off im 17

its nearly valentines day, and my girlfriend really really likes picnics, so im gonna take her out for one during the day

basically, she's a vegetarian and she really likes haloumi cheese. i kinda hoped maybe someone would be able to give me some suggestions what to put in the picnic, or a simple ish recipe i could make with the cheese

Here's an article in Wikipedia that mentions how haloumi can be used. Halloumi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I confess I had to look it up to see what it is.

I'd experiment with this cheese myself before using it, but here's one idea:

Grill the cheese, cut it into bite-sized pieces and serve in a pita or wrap with fresh chopped veggies (cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, onion) and mint. Maybe a nice vinaigrette dressing or yogurt-based dressing with it? Top with harissa or some chopped olives??
