I have these very beautiful short ribs, but i don't know what to braise it in. Do any of you have/know of any good liquids to braise in? Thanks.

Red wine, mirepoix (celery, onion, carrot), sachets (thyme, garlic, bay leaf, peppercorns). Low and slow.

Try them Korean Style (galbi jjim). Braise in sweet white wine or vermouth and soy sauce with a little carrot and potato.

I like to braise mine in red wine with lots of caramelized mirepoix, then reduce the braising liquid to a sauce and serve with horseradish mashed potatoes. I know, not very inventive, but to me, that is perfection so why change it?!

Default Ginger ribs

I like to do mine in a mix of oyster sauce, soy, grated ginger to taste, carmelized onion, sake, a little garlic, beef stock and a little cayenne to cut out all the sweet you have going on. low and slow and they come out to be awesome. good luck, i might have to go buy some short ribs now........
