 raisin or fruit bar
I am looking for a recipe for a bar cookie that is made with molasses, raisins (sometimes candied fruit). It is slightly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Everything I have tried tend to be cakie. or do you have a suggestion on how I can change a cakie bar cookie to a chewy, but solid cookie. Kauffmann's bakery in Pittsburgh PA has started making them recently and I remember them form 20 years ago when I was a kid. Help |
