 chocolate dipped cookies Ok, I am wanting ot make some chocolate dipped cookies, but I am not sure how to make to chocolate "sauce" (if you will). I'm thinking of something sort of like a taking a some chocolate chips, heating up some milk or cream and then making a simple ganache, but I'm not sure on the quantities for that. so any help would be appreciated. I'm also not sure if a ganache is what I should be using for this project.

 CoolJ if you use a ganche that's soft your chocolate will remain that way and you can't stack them or handle them much. I always use straight melted chocolate. You can add alittle oil or shortening for shine and it will thin the chocolate abit (some find that easier to handle). Try to brush any loose crumbs off them before dipping. HTH?
