On another website this same topic came up.
Powdered vinegar is liquid vinegar that has been spray-dried to remove the water. The liquid vinegsr is sprayed as droplets into a large vessel and mixed with very hot circulating air. The net result is a powder of vinegar. Fleischman's (spelling?) carries several varieties (apple, balsamic, Kosher, etc.). I don't have a website to get you to them, but www.northernlight.com is a great search engine to try - I suggest you search for 'Fleischman' or 'spray-dried vinegar'.
good luck...

If you don't know what it is, I'm curious as to why you need it?

Well nutcakes, a friend of mine, in Marlboro, Mass. has a popcorn business, and he's going for the variety thing. Personally, the thought of vinegar popcorn is kind of disgusting. Maybe with the right amount of beer......?
