I've got tons of green tomatoes and am trying to do something about them. I have already tried fried green tomatoes (very good) and I just got some recipes for green tomato pie. Could someone offer a recipe for pickling green tomatoes? Thanks.

I don't have a recipe for pickling green tomatoes, but I was recently in Texas City, Texas and ate at a restaurant there called - The Reef. They served pickled green tomatoes and cole slaw as an appetizer. You might try contacting them to see if they will give out their recipe.

I used to serve green tomatoe ketchup on a dish... back when they were the talk of the town... you could take "poetic license" with that idea... It was good.
