| Hello Members Can you help me, I'm driving crazy tryng to find a recipe for the "Paprika sauce" used on recipes like the Wiener Schintzel.. All I know about it is a soft yellowed sauce. can you help me? best regards Claudio Villa cvilla@nw.com.br |

| Do you mean Esterhazy Sauce? If so, that's easy: 1/4 lb. mushrooms, diced 1 carrot; small, finely diced 1 shallot or green onion, finely diced 2 Tbsp butter 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce Saute the mushrooms, carrot and shallot or green onion in butter. Add paprika, salt, sour cream and Worcestershire Sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes, but DO NOT boil. Use sauce on top of any prepared meat (steaks, chicken, etc.) I have made the sauce without the veggies, but they really make it taste wonderful. Anyway, I hope this is helpful to you. Susan |
