| Lundberg and whole foods website don't have anything. Should I boil water first, then add rice, one place said to combine 3 cups water, 1 cup rice, THEN boil for 60 minutes. Any thoughts? Thanks.

| I'm no expert but I eat a lot of wild rice. I found there is no problem covering the rice with water and boiling from there. I typically add excess water and pour off when it's cooked. I also check on it from time to time to make sure I still have water in there and add when necessary. 60 minutes for wild rice is about the norm.... for wild rice. I am not sure for blends or broken grain rice. |
