Post suggestions for Munich, Austria & Venice etc...

Hi everyone, I need your help.

I just made plans to spend two weeks in Europe next month and I would love to see if anyone has any suggestions of restaurants in the following cities along my route. I didn't make up the itinerary, in fact, I haven't heard of half of them, so I don't want to miss any special places that any of you may know of from your travels. Munich, Innsbruck, Bolzano, Cinque Terre, Lago di Garda, Firence, Chianti, San Gimignano, Siena, Venice and Grado/Trieste. Thanks in advance.

Stick to the traterrias,as opposed to restaurants, they are more casual less expensive.

hi gourmetlover....

have you left yet? when do you go?

that itinerary sounds very nice...if a bit active...how long will you be there for? some of those places are spots i've been meaning to get to but haven't yet seen.

you will be passing through bologna, probably, en route to or from tuscany....so if you're around, let me know and maybe i can show you around my town.

you have a good mix of the big touristy spots with some smaller places....sounds like you'll have a great time and really get to appreciate what italy has to offer....you'll really be able to notice a difference between the various regions...the german and austrian influences up north, then the ligurian (cinqueterre) and tuscan stops, and then the interesting slavic influence up in trieste.

are you travelling by train? is this an organized tour?

anyway....hope you have a great time...even though i'm living in italy, i can't help feeling a bit jealous of you. by the way....if you check your profile, i've sent you a message via cheftalk...
