Cool Greek Food?

Ok lets get some feedback from everyone on their favorite spot for Greek food.

I have been going to Roditis in downtown Chicago for years, they have great food and great prices.

If I am in the suburbs though I usually head to the Greek Islands in Lombard. At there last night and had an outstanding meal. Be sure to try the fried baby eggplants with tomato sauce!

Question

I haven't been out for Greek food in ages. If I were, however, I would definitely ask your opinion, Nicko.... Thanks for the tip.
The last time, I had greek food, I was on mikonos

Question

A new Greek restaurant has just opened in my area. Our local food critic gave it a thumbs up, but what should I be looking for & any recommendations on what to try once I get there? Thanks.

Foodie,

If you want to try some classics then you try the moussaka (eggplant, potato, ground beef, and tomato sauce with cheese), or any lamb dish, or you should always try the seafood one of my favorites is the octopus stewed in tomato.
I usually never go for the saganaki (flaming cheese) as it is more an American thing. There isn't a time that I remember seeing saganaki in any restaurant that I was at in Greece.

Have fun!
