Question Chicago Recommendations

I will be in Chicago this coming weekend and have heard great things about "Kevins" French Fusion, yes?

Anyone been? Is it worth the trip?

I am a (ahem...) a former Chef (do you ever really lose that I wonder?) studying to become a master sommelier and want to take my boyfriend for a truly amazing birthday dinner but am quite unfamiliar with the area. As I mentioned I've heard great things about Kevins but am open to suggestion.

Thanks so much.

Check out Ambria.

True classical french cuisine with an excellent wine list and sommelier (who I've met personally)

Default where did you wind up?

I agree with Nicko, Tru (with my former partners Rick and Gale) can be life changing.

I hope that Cru (on Delaware) and Webster's (duh, on Webster) ended up on your wine horizon. They both have nice selections at great prices.

There's so much good wine in Chicago, just be sure to drink it where ever you go.
