Post Going to Boston

I am heading to Boston and area March 17-March 22 and was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for restaurants (besides the obvious Biba & Olives) both high end and mid or lower end. I'm on a tight budget this trip so I will only be able to do one high end place. Besides, when I go to different cities I like to see where people eat for every day dinning out. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Pete,
If you are going through Povidence, try Wes's Ribs. May I ask why you are going to Boston?
I have some friends going about that time for some kind of Seafood or Food Show.
At any rate, enjoy.

I am going more for fun than a foodie visit. I just got engaged and have a lot of family out there so I want to introduce my bride-to-be to them. I also spent years growing up in New England and went to culinary school in Vermont so I want to get back there for a few days. And, finally, I need a break in a major way!

I was in Boston last September and loved the North End (Italian District). The ricotta pie was awesome and only $1.25 and available at all local bakeries. Life's too short...eat dessert first!! Then try Giacomo's for a great meal in the mid-price range. Went to Union for lobster....what a waste of time and money!! Buono Appetito.
