Thumbs up green dolphin street, chicago

I had dinner at Green dolphin street last night and I have to say... it was AMAZING. New chef and sous... and it was spectacular. i had 6 courses of truly incredible food. The scallops, to die for. The blue cheese ice cream completely insanely delicious. The food hasn't been this good there EVER. Better than any I've had in Chicago so far, including TRU, Trotter's, and The dining room at the Ritz. Can't wait to go back.

If your wallet can stretch to afford it, check it out. OVER THE TOP.

Carol,

Ate at GDS about two years ago, and thought that is was pretty good. It is good to hear that things have improved. When you say it is pricey, what can I expect to pay for two people?

I'm not sure... It's pricey, compared to my restaurant.. My check was taken care of.. much to my surprise!!! I can say, it was fabulous. If you plan to go, let me know and I'll call ahead for you. I know several people there.
Can't say enough about how good it was.
