Default Eindhoven, Netherlands

Any recommendations on places to eat in Eindhoven? I'll be there for a week on business and would like to try something new.

I visited there briefly in 1969, so my report would be a bit outdated. I do remember eating Indonesian food, which isn't that unusual in the Netherlands. The curry croquettes were delicious- that much I remember.

Eindhoven? You shoulda haved asked me about Maastricht...

However Mezzaluna is right. When dining out even the Dutch themselves mostly go to Indonesian or Chinese restaurants. Thinking about it, I haven“t any idea what could be considered as "Dutch" food actually.

Default I'm not sure about the rest

of the Dutch, but we mostly go to Eetcafe's, French, Italian, and Spanish restaurants. As far as Eindhoven goes, try 'De Avant Garde van Groeninge'. There are also a couple of decent Tapas/Spanish restaurants in the city though their names escape me at the moment (I live in the far north - Groningen.)

Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm also in the Paris/Buc/Versailles area for a few days, I hope I survive
