Garrett had the macaroni and cheese, creme brulee for dessert. The kid's mac and cheese has a hint of garlic in it!

I had pate with port/balsamic reduction for a starter and crispy roast duck. Very classic, and very well done.

Schaumburg.... go north about 90 minutes and you're in my back yard.

Isn't there a HUGE Japanese/Asian grocery store in the area? I've always wanted to go there. I think it might be in Arlington Heights, in the general vicinity of Schaumburg.
