Default Best Teriyaki

Here in Tacoma, WA is a small little restaurant named "Best Teriyaki." It seats about 20 people. The first time that I went you could smell the grilled chicken and teriyaki sauce in wafting through the air. Each time you breathed in the the glorious smells your stomach longed to taste what was offered. So, my fiance and I decided to order two orders of teriyaki chicken. After about 8 minutes the delectable meal arrived. There it was, chicken stacked about 4 inches high with a large helping of sticky rice and side salad. The teriyaki sauce that was spread generously over the top of the chicken made my mouth water. The atmosphere was just like you were eating a meal at home. I left totally satisfied. Not one hunger pang to be found anywhere in my stomach. This wonderful meal with drinks will cost you about $15.00. So, if you're here in Tacoma check it out. (812 72nd St. E.) You won't be disappointed.

Dale,
Forgot to share a tip with you...
In Seattle, 3400 Rainner Ave S, is The Mekong Grocery, across from the old Chubby and Tubby Bldg.
Vietnamese Sandwiches, BBQ or Chicken, $1.75!!!! A bag of Shrimp Chips, and a beer....ah, nirvana!!!!

I miss Seattle's Teriyaki spots. I lived there for an year in West Seattle and fell in love with the Teriyaki restaurants around town. Do any of you Seattle natives or residents know how to make the Teriyaki sauce they use in those restaurants. I live on the East Coast and their is nothing like that here. Help.

On a similar note in the area...
There's a Korean restaurant in Seattle called #1 Teriyaki. It looks like it used to be a taco shop. It's in between the Int'l District and Pioneer Square... kind of on the trolley tracks, I think it's on 2nd. Best Korean restaurant ever despite the appearance.
